I think names matter too, and although I have never thrown something out because it had a ridiculous name, I confess I have been attracted to plants simply because they had fun names. My personal favorite is Mean Mr. Mustard, for a yellow day lily.Sarah/ Galloping Horse Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01863804034201109102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890786265475429448.post-85296133688836806042013-07-08T17:54:40.090-04:002013-07-08T17:54:40.090-04:00I know it was bought at a Home Depot garden center...I know it was bought at a Home Depot garden center. My father always said the farmer (long gone) apparently had attempted a hedge row and it was back to native stock. This was in the '40's. Tootsie may have come a long way, but hasn't changed much.Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834682329952369721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3890786265475429448.post-24497521573085580302013-07-08T12:10:38.808-04:002013-07-08T12:10:38.808-04:00She's a beauty Alain.
